Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Uganda

Passport Information

U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).

Uganda Tourist Visa

A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
One visa application form, completed and signed, submitted online – Click Here.
One passport type photograph – Must be uploaded onto the visa application form (2×2, less than six months old, no glasses, formatted JPEG, BMP, or GIF)
A copy of the Resident alien card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
Original International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required
Onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary
Hotel confirmation or letter of invitation from the host family/friend (Copy of host’s passport page or identification card)

Uganda Business Visa

A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining

One passport type photograph – Must be uploaded onto the visa application form (2×2, less than six months old, no glasses, formatted JPEG, BMP, or GIF)
A copy of the Resident alien card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
A letter from the company in the U.S. (on company letterhead) stating the purpose and duration of the trip
A Letter of Invitation from the organization you are visiting in Uganda is required
International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required
