Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Singapore
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, musthave at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).
U.S. citizens do not require visa to visit Singapore for business or for social visit purposes.
However, visitors must ensure that they meet the following entry requirements:-
- A valid U.S. passport with atleast 6 months validity remaining
- Valid entry visa to the next destination (if required);
- Confirmed onward return air ticket;
- and Sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore.
The period of stay permitted is at the discretion of the Immigration Officer upon arrival at the Singapore Changi Airport.
Singapore Visa requirements for non-U.S. citizens.
Singapore Tourist Visa
- Notarized copy of the passport page.
- Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the last day of intended stay in Singapore
- One completed visa application form (Form No. 14) , Letter of Introduction from Singapore (Form V39A) and Authorization form
- A copy of the local contact’s Singapore Identity card is required.
- One recent passport type photograph (less than 6 months old on white background) No glasses to be worn on the photo.
- An employment verification letter from the employer.
- A notarized colored copy (front and back) of the Resident Alien Card (Green Card) or a valid visa back to the U.S. is required
- A photocopy of confirmed round trip air ticket and hotel confirmation is required
- If you are a homemaker, please provide an employment verification letter (dated within the last 3 months) from your spouse’s current employer, a note from your spouse to indicate that he/she is submitting the document in support of your visa application AND a copy of your marriage certificate
- If you are a student in the USA, please provide a clear copy of your I-20(page 3 is to be duly endorsed by your school representative) and a clear copy of your student’s ID.

Singapore Business Visa
- Notarized copy of your passport page.
- Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the last day of intended stay in Singapore
- One completed visa application form (Form No. 14) , Letter of Introduction from Singapore (Form V39A) and Authorization form

- Letter of invitation from the company in Singapore. Letter should be issued on the company letterhead, indicating the purpose of your visit, duration of your stay and the name & contact information of the liaison person in Singapore
- A letter (on company letterhead) from the company in the U.S. stating the purpose, duration of the trip, and that the company will take care of all the financial expenses of the applicant during the intended stay in Singapore.
- A photocopy of confirmed round trip air ticket and hotel confirmation is required

- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required if arriving from infected area within 5 days.
- The tourist visa is valid for a period of 3 months ( 90 days) and allows for multiples entries for non-U.S citizens. For U.S citizens traveling to the Republic of Congo for touristic purposes, a visa of 6 months ( 180 days) multiple entries will be granted.
