Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Cameroon

Passport Information

U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, musthave at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).

Cameroon Tourist Visa

Original passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
2 visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here.
2 passport-size color photographs with white background less than six months old (BOTH EARS MUST BE SEEN) that must be either glued or
stapled to each of the two application forms.
A copy of the Green card(front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent
Copy of recent bank statement or proof of sufficient resources to be used during stay in Cameroon
Copy of yellow fever vaccination certificate

For Visitors

Certificate of accommodation issued by the inviting party,and undersigned by Administrative or Immigration authorities
Copy of round trip tickets or airlines or travel agency receipt bearing the traveler’s name. Warranty of repatriation is requested when applying for a long stay visa.

Minors traveling to Cameroon

In addition to the above requirements, the following documents are also needed.

Notarized letter of support jointly signed by both parents or legal guardians agreeing with the trip and specifying who will be traveling with the child.
If parents or guardians are Cameroonians, provide original passport and copy of immigration documents.
If parents or guardians are not Cameroonians,provide copy of passport pages bearing photo and validity information. This also applies to any third party taking a child to Cameroon on behalf of the parents.

U.S. citizens born in Cameroon, or of Cameroonian origin do not need to provide a certificate of accommodation.

Cameroon Business Visa

Original passport with at least 6 months validity remaining

A copy of recent bank statement / proof of sufficient resources to be used during the stay in Cameroon
A business letter stating the purpose and dates of visit and the applications responsibility for all travel expenses
Legalized letter of invitation from the inviting party, or invitation to an event organized on the National territory; the exact duration of stay should be explicitly mentioned on the invitation.
